...Nowadays, whenever someone in advertising world says: "McCann", the association, top of the mind recall is "Erickson", and we don't really think that behind these words,behind the Agency that is now one of the most famous and successful, is the real person - Harrison King McCann. This work is intended to tell the world about this legendary man and to pay the earned respect to Mr. Harrison McCann.

He didn't like to be in the limelight, and was not famous as most of the "creatives" of that time - Ogilvy, Bernbach and others. However, it was his endeavor and organizational skills that built McCann-Erickson Advertising as we know it now.

Yes, he was the man behind the scene but he was the one that make that scene go. Unfortunately, not much information is available about this person, but here in this website I am presenting what we know and we have heard about this legendary person - Harrison McCann.
